I see lot of you in bike jockstraps and I luv them and love you guys in them : you all look fucking hot 🌶🌶
I would like to buy a pair or two (at JS Central of course !) but was asking a few question about them as I use them also under spandex tights for running sessions :
Which model should I purchase ?
Are they comfortable for running ?

Hi John, love your website. I saw that Bike has started producing jocks again. Are you going to pick them up? I thought the prices were a bit high, but then I remember when you could by a Bike10 for less than a buck and a half!

As soon as Bike will sell to us we'll be carrying them.

We contacted them back in April when they first relaunched and started teasing that they were almost ready to sell. We had quite a long phone call with them and they pried us for lots of information about our previous Bike sales and experiences with the old company. They explained that they were not ready to wholesale yet - which made sense as they had a lot of teething problems and a lot of customers were complaining about delayed orders. They quickly seemed to get that resolved. We nudged them every few months with the same response that they weren't ready.

Then we noticed International Jock had them on their website so again, we asked them and they told us they still weren't ready and were using International Jock as a trial. I'm sure you can imagine how disappointed we were that they didn't choose us after the relationship we had already established. But, that's business I guess and International Jock is a much bigger operation.

So... we're still waiting patiently.

As for the price, personally I think one of the main reasons most of the classic North American jockstrap manufacturers stopped producing jocks as it probably wasn't worth their while to sell jocks for under $10 (the expectation) especially with a dwindling market. Most likely the reason they stopped manufacturing in the USA and moved to China. Of course that all just a hunch.

Soon as you get them, I will get one and see if they are as good as the old ones. Love the website.

The most authentic Bike replica you can get right now is our Meyer Jockstraps. They were the European distributor for Bike and had direct contact with the Bike Factory so when Bike shut down, they approached the factory that made Bike jockstraps to make both the #10 models and the more modern Performance models under the Meyer brand. They're being made using the exact same specs, fabrics and sizing as Bike was using before Bike ended. The only difference is where the Bike logo was is now an MM (for Meyer Marketing).

There are lots of cheap knockoffs out there being made in China and either sold through Aliexpress or being sold to other companies who rebrand them. I haven't seen them all (obviously) but have read reports/reviews about how lousy the quality is with some of them and people complaining that they're falling apart.

As for which model, it depends on your taste and what you like. The #10s are classic with a 3 inch wide waistband. The Performance Jocks are modern with softer plushed (grey) waistbands. The Performance jocks come in either a 2 inch wide waistband version or a swimmer (1 inch) wide waistband.

That's awesome! I knew Bike stopped making them, but I didn't know about Meyer. I'll have to get some from them. I'm a big fan of the #10.
