On the farm my grandfather wore those, then later my dad, and now I'm at that age where it's going to be suspenders or overalls to keep my pants up. I've chatted with some who said a jock and overalls was standard for all the males on the farm, especially in the heat. One guy said he started his sons out with jockstraps at age 5 for doing chores and that's all they had for underwear. He also said a lot of the kid's classmates at a rural school were jockstrap only. It's a solution for the needs of hard working guys. I have a Blue Golberg on under my Wrangelers today because I am planning on working on the farm today.
