Hi John, Adrian, and all on this amazing website. I am thoroughly enjoying it. I hope this message finds you warm and well.

I like the JC Athletic brand, particularly the four way stretch of the pouch. I am not very well endowed, and pull Mr. Happy up and the pouch supports me. UNFORTUNATELY, I am very disappointed in the leg straps. They roll up like a piece of floss or fabric on a thong. My Omtex, Wolf, Cell Block and Mr. S jocks do not. Perhaps when you consider redesigning the jock you might consider a more dense, heavier, or possibly wider material for the straps. Perhaps it is geometry?

While I have your attention, do any of you know of a "push up" jock? Women have push up bras! My Mr. S leather jock is designed as such.

Thanks,
Gregg

Gregg,

I'm sorry to hear about the issue! To be honest, this is the first complaint of heard about our JC Athletic Jockstraps since launching them in 2017. I can only guess as I can't see it on you, but Is it possible that you're wearing an incorrect size and that the leg straps are being pulled too tight? I see you ordered a small JC jock when you usually order a medium in other brands.

Tell you what, you're an amazing customer, seriously! We're going to send you a medium and let's see if that works better. We'll get that in the mail on Wednesday and you should have it on Saturday.

-----------------------

We have carried many push up jocks in that they have an elastic ring inside the pouch designed to boost the bulge. The most recent one is our Raw Studio Push Up Jockstrap here:

We also have the McKillop Glory Hole Hoist Jockstrap that does it's "pushing up" simply by the design of the pouch. That can be seen here:

Not sure if the "style" is what you're looking for - both of those are fashion jocks and the McKillop has a wide holes in the pouch material which makes it quite see-through.

Cheers,

John.

I have a JC Athletic strap (3"inch white) and I love the look and feel. The leg straps on mine are generally twisted /spiraled when I take it from the drawer, and I have to flatten/untwist when I put it on initially, then it's fine. It is specific to the JC strap, a year and a half old, I think, was like that since first washing. Just got a JC Athletic Swimmer jock, don't know if it will behave the same way or not. For me the issue is minor, a tiny annoyance, but not enough to keep me from getting my latest Swimmer. Love the pouch fabric and look.

It does concern me with another report regarding the straps. However, we've sold over 4000 of our JC Athletic Jocks since launching them in 2017 and this is the first I'm hearing about strap issues. We have also had countless rave reviews over the years, so it may be premature to alter the straps at this point.

I'll be interested to hear your report about the new JC Athletic Swimmer Jock!

It does sound like these two issues above are slightly different in nature.

Just out of curiosity, do you put your jocks in the dryer? I know most of us do but I always recommend not doing so because the dryer tends to degrade elastics.

I know a lot of jock issues occur when guys are buying a size that's too small - but I can see from the photo you posted elsewhere on this site that that's not the case with you - the JC jock you're wearing looks like a pretty great fit.

I don't use dryer. I hang all my clothes, air dry. Will attempt a pic now, I have my JC strap doing it's thing now.

So here is the twist-o-flex. I put it on and unwind the twists. Not a huge deal, but this is the only jock I've had to deal with twisty leg straps.

Pic of freshly washed strap, air dried. First world problem, I untwist the leg straps, but it's the only jock I've owned that has the twisties.
