Hey guys, thank you so much for all the well wished about my surgery/health. This is my first day sitting at my desk and I doubt I'm going to be here for long. Just trying to go through a backlog of emails and figured I'd pop in here.

I know Adrian updated you a bit but essentially here's what happened:

My surgeon expected to do my colon surgery and ileostomy install laparoscopically but when he got in close to see where the remains of my cancer was he found some strange stuff going on which he blames on the 5-day intense radiation I had last year. So, the team had to quickly change direction and cut me open. The surgery ended up taking over 7 hours.

Other than that complication, the surgeon(s) were very happy with the outcome and I managed to mend mostly as expected. I went in to surgery on Wednesday and go released from hospital on Tuesday. I've been home recovering since then.

I'm getting used to draining and changing my ileostomy. The only complication is I had excessive fluids draining from my belly via a tube - the reason the doctors kept my in hospital for an extra day while they ran tests. So I had to go home with this bloody tube sticking out my belly and draining into a bag. If it wasn't for that, I could be back to normal and actually getting showers. It's a pain in the ass to have this thing dangling from me and I can't wait to get rid of it. Luckily, the draining fluids are diminishing so hopefully I can get rid of it at some point this week.

Anyway, give me until the end of the week and I expect to be back on here regularly. I'll also be able to deal with the contest and winners.

90% of my nurses were female but I did have a beautiful Ethiopian day nurse named Adam for 3 days in a row. But I had him in the early days in hospital where I was pretty drugged up. I know you may find this hard to believe, but work and jockstraps were the furthest thing from my mind, lol!

So glad you are on the mend. Take it carefully and be good to yourself.

Now - if you really were pretty drugged up as you say - there's probably no way to really know what you really said to that hot nurse named Adam (and what an appropriate name) - or any of your male docs for that matter :)

Get well and take care of yourself. We were good little boys and did as you said - we "played nice" (some may have even played with each other)

John, You have had bad luck, but looks as though you are coming out of the other side. Take it easy, Stay safe, don't overdo your return to the office and then you will have a speedy recovery.

Thanks guys for all the kind words.

Unfortunately, I'm a bit of a workaholic and I LOVE what I do so it's easy to forget I just got our of surgery. I did overdo it yesterday so Adrian is forcing me to take it easy and only allowing me to work for a few hours a day right now.

I am managing to check in here daily to perv over all the hot photos being posted. What a fucking awesome bunch of sexy jockstrapped men of various body sizes and shapes this site has attracted. I love them all!

Oh, and by the way: While I was in hospital, we reached 700 members!

John; So sorry, and surprised, to hear of your health struggles. Man, that's tough ...... I was going to say "That sucks!", then "That's really hard", but I didn't want to use those two great words to refer to something negative! I really feel for you (FOR you, not "feel you" ..... although that would be super nice for ME) ....god, what is this? National Double Entendre Day? Or is it just my perverted mind? Sincerely, though, I'm really sorry you're having to go through this and send every good wish for a speedy, and more or less comfortable recovery! Take care, as others have said, try to lay off the work a bit if it doesn't feel right, and try to be patient with the pace of recovery. Sometimes, it's two steps forward, one step back, etc. And that can be super frustrating! All my best wishes, walkhard7
