How old were you when you started to wear a jock

Jr high was my first new Bike jock for PE and always strapped since high school also.
Now 62 still wearing a jockstrap.

Got my first jock when I was 10, summer before 5th grade. I was told to wear it under my swim trunks for summer swim lessons, and to use it for PE. I was one of a few guys that wore a jock for PE till 7th grade when they were required. Never thought much about wearing a jock, but as I got older I really liked them and wore one more and more. I liked the support, and the jock was helpful in controlling my boners. I especially liked wearing a jock to sleep, and learned to stroke the pouch till I'd cum. Eventually Jockstraps became my daily underwear and still are today.

Love that Defender jockstrap. My father had one in the 60's.He always wore his wide band under a black speedo.

Hi I'm 62 always wearing a jockstrap.
As a young kid before Jr high I saw my dad and brother wearing a jock . When I was about to enter 7th grade dad and brother gave me a older jockstrap to wear to the beach under my swim suit. I felt so proud to wear it. In Jr high getting my first brand new jock was a exciting experience to wear every PE day.

First jock was a cupjock, no recollection of brand, age 8 or 9 for hockey. One autumn evening my hockey playing father called me into his den having bought the full equipment for youth hockey, told me to strip to my tighty-whitey briefs, and showed how to put on the equipment, starting with pulling on the cupjock over my underwear.

Second was a standard Bike jock required for 7th grade PE, age 11. Bought with my Mom at the local department store along with the school-branded gym shorts and t-shirt. Gym teacher told us how to dress (jock on bare skin not over underwear), though the basketball players from 6th grade already knew and just, er, swung into action. The rest of us followed, including showering afterwards which was required. We had already been swimming for a year or two at the Y where showering nude before and after was enforced, so showering after 7th grade gym was not a big deal, even for those who were not yet very big and/or hairy.

Yes the good old days when we did learn to wear jocks and being used to showering after gym class. The boys in 90's didn't have to change for gym or showers were either optional or not in use at all. My dad taught me very early that showering with your class was important and the reason we wore a jockstap. With no questions it was just done.

Too bad those days of mandatory jocks and jock checks and showering the boys don't even know about. Ive been lucky even just to meet a few young adults teaching them about jocks and why you wesr them. I turn the teaching trickled down to thier younger cousins who love the jo c ks and thier support and taught a circle of buddies.

I had a few friends in south London talking about the Litesome jocks they ran a boys gym for gymnastics so the boys all aged from 7-18 had to wear a jockstrap it was mandatory. The younger boys who were too small even for youth size got the smallest to fit them by the head gym teacher.

I fell in love with wearing a jock before even jr high . My dad was avid jockstrap wearer during each summer under his adult speedo. So just before je high and 7th grade got my first handme down jock that summer. I felt like a big boy wearing a jockstrap under my boys swim suit.
I too wore it most evenings to bed.

But getting my newbike#10 for pe class seeing all my classmates strapping.
