Pull down the waistband and the coach would snap the waistband. It was exhilarating sometimes, depending on the coach. As time went on we snapped our own . . . sometimes — in my case with a challenging look at my hotter coaches.

Our junior high/high school PE instructor/coach (all-male school) would tell us the course requirement at the first gym class of each school year. He would say, “You will [at least] pass this class if you: -Report to class, -Wear all the uniform and gear required, -Shower at the end of each [P.E.] class. And…There will be random inspections and checks for compliance.” When outlining uniform/gear requirements, he also told us, “Gentlemen, whether you think you need one or not, wear a jockstrap every time you gear up for class. You’ll probably want to thank me later in life.” Yes, for about half of the classes, our coach(es) required us to pull gym shorts waistbands down to about hip level, exposing the requisite jockstrap waistband, as we exited the locker room to the gym or athletic field. Of course, those [gear/uniform] were not required for swimming/life saving classes which were taken in the nude. (The coaches wanted no wet/mildew items in the lockers, though the locker room did have a distinct aroma of sweat and used jockstraps). The [indoor] pool sessions also required (and randomly checked for ) nude soap shower compliance before and after swimming. By that time in my life, the locker room/swimming pool nudity, jockstraps, and associated male camaraderie was an integral part of the YMCA facility I had been visiting with my dad. Also, by that time, I was masturbating regularly, spitting my sperm load into a used/worn jockstrap (after having accidentally seen my dad perform as such… like father, like son?). Thus, everything at the school gym seemed like a natural extension of that culture… no big deal. … though, I admit to often getting aroused by [wearing and seeing] jockstraps. Looking back, it’s fair to say that the seeds of my lifelong jockstrap fetish were probably planted (pun intended) during those times. Proud to say, ”No regrets…. And, thanks, coach !”

The jockstraps I had in Middle school, High school and collage are long gone. If you want to do an expedition, I can point you to a landfill. The oldest jockstrap I have is almost 30 years old. Saw it in a store and bought it. While some other's might be older like what I had in collage they are newer to me.
