When I played sports in school and college you didn't have much choice where you changed. One big locker room.
Yes in jr high school gym and high school we had your typical lockeroom so we stripped together put on jockstrap and shorts . After class mandatory naked showering.
I didn’t have PE in college. I did however go to a local mens gym that’s where I saw less jockstrap’s worn by guys 18 - 30.. The guys 18- 25 definitely were shy not wearing a jockstap you would see them in gym shorts and waistband from boxer briefs showing and definitely no showering after ever. They look at me strapped and never say a word.
