Also interested. I never got to try one, though back when i did go a looking I ran into the Roadrunner brand that had a nice jock with single layer dri-fit pouch, slim waistband and leg straps. recently discontinued itself but there's some stock in some sizes last i checked.

I got several Coolmax jocks YEARS ago. They were on clearance back then for about a buck. Awesome fit and love the leg straps.

I had a couple of the Coolmax jocks years ago. I wore them under my cycling shorts. I got out of cycling for about 8 years and when I came back to it my Coolmax jocks dry rotted. The elastic just broke up in the waistband.

Can't get any junk support that way.

But I was able to find a Chinese knock off on Amazon. Pouch is a bit small but works for on the bike.

i bought one of these champion jockstraps from amazon the other day - it was a little bit different than what i expected I'm a classic white athletic supporter kinda guy - but this one was interesting. it was a weird mesh/foam type of material in the front. i was expecting somewhaty classic and masculine (McDavid, Bike, etc) due to Champion's status as a sportswear brand. Still it was a nice add to my collection

White jock is a Champion Cool Jock and the black is a Tyhengta jock that I hoped would replace the Champion. The Tyhengta has a deeper/stretchier pouch than the Cool Jock and the waistband does not stay in place quite as well. This jock does not provide the same support as the Champion but I have found that it is comfortable sleep/lounge wear. The search for a replacement Cool Jock continues.

I saw that the side strap placement was farther back on those, how's that faring so far?
the recent black GYM old schools I bought had the opposite problem, the straps mounted a bit far forward, possibly a function of the stretchy waist band, haven't ordered the other colors with tighter waist elastic

Absolutely loved the Champion Cool Jocks! I still have about 5 or 6, but they're getting a bit tattered...

Road Runner Sports just recently discontinued their jocks with the pouch and straps being just like the coolmax--if fact, I believe it's the same material. The only obviously difference is the waistband and the cut of the pouch and position of the straps. Great jock though. I stocked up when they still had my size.

Yes single layer spandex. I suspect that this jock is sold under several different brand names
