Question for the jock bros....

The Cell Block 13 Tight End Jocks, how are their sizing? I have a measured 37 inch waist, according to the size chart that's an XL. But I have read reviews that they run large. A Bike #10 in L fits me perfectly. Would I be safe with following the size chart or would I be better off going a size down. I'm looking for a supportive fit for everyday wear.

Also how is the construction? Are they durable and hold up well to washing without strings coming lose and the elastic pulling apart?

Thanks

The Cellblock 13 Tight End XL jocks laid flat measure (without stretching), 17" wide (so 34" all the way around).

The main difference between Cellblock 13 jocks and Bike are that Cellblock 13 jocks are not true sports jocks, they are fashion jocks looking like sports jocks. More designed for comfort before support. Not dissing them but that's the reality. Cellblock 13 is, however, known for their quality construction and craftmanship.

I think a lot of the issue with some of the modern sports jocks as far as quality goes is with the Chinese brand Jockmail. They are making most of the Bike knockoffs out there and simply slapping various brands labels on them. They are poorly constructed and most don't make it through the wash more than once or twice before starting to disintegrate.

That's the info I was looking for.

So I picked up a medium size tight end jock back in February. The pouch is quite large. Which I like. But the waistband feels a bit loose. I have a size 32 waist and probably could have gone with a small. But the medium does fit really well and it’s pretty comfortable.

I had this experience too. The first CB13 jock I got in medium fit perfectly, but I got another medium recently that seems a bit too roomy. Still fits, just not with the degree of support I like.

I have both large and XL - the large fits better - I’m a 36” waist. The large swimmers jock fits amazing.
