Jocksnsocks2002
I am certain that many of you have seen this advertisement, and perhaps like me, quietly removed the printed page from "Athletic Journal" or other publications when this appeared.
BIKE introduced the plush Pro 10, and prepared this advertisement showing a naked (and All-American looking) athlete. He is holding various pieces of sports equipment to illustrate that the BIKE jockstrap may be worn - indeed back then, should be worn - to participate in these and other sports and activities.
It is improbable that such an advertisement would be published today, but at least during my young days, it was possible and quite acceptable. After all, the first thing on and the last thing off for most athletes back then was a jockstrap.
I hope that some of you will remember this advertisement, and that it will bring back good memories.
