Behind the Scenes at a Jockstrap Central Photo Shoot

Been going through some old photos and came across these behind the scenes photos from a photo shoot we did with our model Peter Rex back in 2006 (a year after we started our business).

Back in those days, our friend Norman took all our photos. As we were shooting a lot of Raw Studio jockstraps that day, Ed, our friend and owner of Raw Studio joined us to help out with the shoot. (Ed's the guy in denim shirt and jeans).

For the shots with four guys in it, from left to right is: Ed (Raw Studio), Me, Adrian and Peter Rex. Norman is taking the photos.

We don't have a lot of behind the scenes photos these days as I'm now taking the photos and also doing the garment adjustments.

Unfortunately, it's just to straighten a waistband or cut off a loose thread. Any other adjustment, the model does himself. In our sixteen years of doing photo shoots, I've only been unprofessional once - and that was with a model who was also a friend (with benefits).

Fun to see the behind the scenes shoots. I’m sure when you are shooting so many colours and varieties it can take a while.
The models are clearly at ease with you. it was great seeing some of the candid shots too. What’s the most out there jock you’ve taken pix of ?

It does take a while. We try to shoot for four hours, any longer and we all get tired. It's always a balance between working efficiently and having fun and being creative.

What’s the most out there jock you’ve taken pix of ?

Hard to think back through all our products over the past 16 years but probably any of the full-frontal jocks and gear we shot. The first explicit photo we shot would be the Cyclops Jockstrap from Male Power. We shot it on our model Mardi back in 2009 and although we had shot mesh jocks before that, this was the first blatantly full-frontal jock we shot. We still carry it and it continues to be a best seller.

And the first time we showed a full-on hardon was when we shot our model Adam Stray in a PPU jockstrap back in 2012. There were some boners in some mesh jocks but not full exposed. (this was discontinued by PPU a long time ago)

I'll post more as I think of them.

Both great examples. Mardi jock looks fun. Definitely one to go with a harness . As for Adam well that’s a reaction you can’t ignore !
