We just hit 1000 members! I've been so busy I actually missed the website hitting this milestone by a few days.
A big gushing thank you to all the members but especially all the regulars hanging out, posting photos and being involved in the forums. I'm heading out of town for a few weeks to visit family but as soon as I'm back I want to start the process of adding a chat addon to the website.
Also, as an experiment, I turned on the ability to share personal videos with another member in a Conversation (private message). It seems to work best if they're not huge videos. Feel free to give it a try. Just start a Conversation with another member then in the edit window menu at the end, click the three dots and you'll see a video camera icon. Click that and you should be able to choose a video from your computer or device.
I call it an experiment as I'm always concerned about the amount of bandwidth involved in hosting and serving video. As long as it doesn't get too expensive I'll keep it going.
At this point I won't be able to implement hosting and serving video into other parts of the website simply because the software doesn't compress the videos before uploading them like services like Tik Tok, YouTube, Vimeo and all the other video hosting site do. There are a lot of requests for the software developers to implement this feature so hopefully they'll add it in a future upgrade.
