  • Guys, you've got to help me out here. This site is about jockstraps. In the Gallery, the Jockstrap Categories about about Jockstraps. If what you're wearing in your photo is not a jockstrap then it simply doesn't belong in one of the Gallery jockstrap style categories. You can post some non-jockstrap photos but you have to post them to your Personal Albums and please keep them to a minimum as they still end up on the main Gallery page and dilute the theme of this website.... I remember this brand as it was the make of the first jock strap i ever wore here in the UK. Most sports shops sold them in the 60's. As some stage the brand seemed to disappear and i do not know why. I wish you could still buy them. Thank you for sharing.

Whenever I see ads like this I want to try sending it in just to see what would happen - there might be some weird time-warp and you might get one - or it would be returned as undeliverable 😞

For your amusement I have added two more Litesome ads, one undated, one from 1953. Don't forget, if you haunt eBay you can sometimes find those bits of memorabilia from our youth. I first started out curious about the Bike No. 10 from the 1960s, when I bought my first jock, and even more significant, a Bike ad showing David (in a jock) and Goliath. It took years, but I finally found that ad, to my great satisfaction. It is posted on this site (somewhere).
