My doc is very thorough. I have my first full colonoscopy at 50 yrs. I was super healthy then and actually watched the camera do all the way. I was lucky. Because of this, my doc has been reluctant to have another full colonoscopy but every year he does other tests that I can't recall by name. He said that colonoscopies can be dangerous IF the doctor is not excellent and careful not to cause damage while inside you. He also said that any family history of medical problems down there would cause him to change his routine with me. So much is about the skill and knowledge of your doctors.
Absolutely wear a jock. An understanding doc will remain totally professional but you will get the idea that it was nice of you to wear only the jock. I wore a bulge pouch pair of sexy underpants to my dermatologist the other day; the second time I did this. This time he was the only one in the room with me. Again nothing was said about my attire nor my bulge. But I used the occasion to ask about anal bleaching; he was very professional again but I could tell that he now knew it was cool for both of us not to be so guarded. I had felt all along that he might be one of us, and now I feel totally comfortable asking anything, saying anything. The bulge pouch just gave me a bit of confidence to ask, as a jock would have done the same.

About 10 years ago, when I was in my mid-50s, to help me deal with some prostate issues, my urologist gave me the best prescription any doctor has ever given me: (1) drink cranberry juice or tomato juice (or eat tomato sauce) every day and (2) ejaculate at least 3 times per week. I've followed his prescription faithfully ever since. And of course he had no problem with my wearing a jockstrap as everyday underwear, something I've done just as faithfully since my late 40s.

Since I wear a jockstrap as my everyday underwear, I always wear a jock to the doctor's office. If, however, I believe I'm going to have to strip down to just my underwear around a female, I wear boxer briefs over top of my jock. Maybe it's because I'm a gay man, but I'm just not very comfortable wearing nothing but a jock in front of a woman, even a medical professional.
I agree about not wearing only a jock in front of a nurse. I have recently started to wear a new version of boxer briefs. They are very much like a boxer, but they have a very distinct pouch that is cut from a separate piece of cloth and sewn into the front. When it is worn, all of my junk falls happily into the pouch.. It looks and feels better than any underwear or jock that I have ever worn. And there is a one-button fly in the pouch so it is easy to access when I need to pee and just show off. Everyone needs to try these if you like to display well but keep your butt covered. Comfort is perfect because the pouch doesn't constrict at all because it is large enough for all of my junk as long as I am not hard..

My PC and I would compare jocks often at appointments
I couldn't believe where I found these because they are super cheap... All cotton, except the elastic on the waistband is not 100 comfy.. But still the best things going. Wish.com.... and one ofthe favourites has #9 on it and only 2.99 Euros plus shipping. Make sure to order much larger. I have a 36-38 inch waist and always order XXL. I couldn't find the ones that i order often... also plaid but just blue and white or red n white plaid. #9 here has a 3rd colour. The actual prices are actually more because they charge for the sizes and other stupid things, but total price is well worth it when I notice that I wear only these and all others in my jock and underwear drawer are never worn. Hope this is a bit of good info for you. William

I only were a Bike jockstrap when I go to the doctor ( I don't own any underwear but Jockstraps ) He asked me if I can pee ok with my 0 gage pa I told him sure

Lucky you that 1/3 of patients get a woody for you, as long as they look interesting. Sadly, you can't do anything about it as a professional. Has a patient ever tried to follow up?
I am working on that now, as a patient. My dermatologist is gorgeous and I get hard just thinking about him. He had to operate on me for a small leg cancer. I had on only my underwear, but I purposely wore my sexist ones that have a separate bulge pouch sewed into the crotch and a button to keep the fly closed. I opened the button but was still mostly covered but growing. He had to cut a piece of flesh from my upper thigh, close to my junk, to use on my leg.
As he cut the 1/2 inch piece of flesh, he had his one arm brush several times on my growing bulge. I could probably have shot a load if he continued. It was amazing. He stayed totally professional and didn't say anything. When the local anesthesia wore off, I could dress and leave. I had 2 visits to check progress and I am slowly trying to open more chats. One is about anal bleaching and he told me different options, but he doesn't do that. What a great doc, and truly brilliant as well as being young and gorgeous. I hope there will be more to this story!!!
